Finally Here!

Just a quick announcement to put your minds at ease... I have arrived in Paris! I am sitting on my bed in my adorable apartment and just so excited to finally be here! The apartment is much bigger/better than I thought it would be. We each have our own beds (hooray!) and there actually is quite a lot of closet space! We are in a great area and we already checked out the cafe we live above. I had my first Parisian meal of salad nicois and it was delicious! I could get very used to this...

On another note..in order to gain sympathy on an airplane...tell whoever you can its your birthday! Although my suitcase was a few pounds overweight the nice man at the ticket counter decided to let it slide on behalf of my birthday. Then, I managed to get a free mini bottle of wine on the airplane to celebrate with as well! Apparently we will be celebrating for real tonight with the other students of MBAI which I am looking forward to!

All in all I am very happy. This is going to be a wonderful adventure!
